Due to the mounting concerns of property values, the board has
decided to recommend a new committee to consider how we might improve
our community. We're considering all sorts of options, including paint
colors, and we would like your thoughts on the matter.
If you would like to participate there is a questionnaire and email information on the Valley Crossing II Architectural Committee Website. There's also a link at the top of this Home Page. All thoughts are welcome.

COLLECTING CONTACT INFORMATION
We will be keeping contact information (including email) for anyone in the VA2 Community that wishes to participate, for the purpose of improved communication. We intend to protect your privacy so this list is only for residents and will NOT be posted on this blog. Anyone requesting the list will receive the information via email and must be a participating member.
LOCAL TALENT AND SERVICES
We're starting a separate page for anyone living in the Community that wishes to advertise their services. Please submit them via our email address to be included in our listings. There is no charge for adding your name to the list.
LIST OF RELIABLE CONTRACTORS
We're starting a list of reliable contractors that some homeowners have used and wish to share. Please email us with any suggestions.
WANT TO CHECK OUT YOUR FAMILY TREE?
The Baltimore County Public Library has just expanded their resources and search engines for all members. It only requires a free Library Membership. Just log into your account to access the files. HAVE FUN !!
GREAT JOB......ON OUR NEW CURB PAINTING !!
It's so nice to be able to read the numbers and "Visitor" spaces on the curbs again. These are so clean and crisp and look like they should last for quite some time. Thank you Sue Culbertson for all the time that you spent doing the research and managing the event.
Please also remember that the black lines mark either side of a parking space. Consider your neighbors and center your car BETWEEN them. We have limited parking in our community and it's a shame to park OVER them and waste 2 SPACES for one car, AND YOUR NEIGHBORS WILL THANK YOU FOR IT.

WARREN Wants Your Labels!
Warren Elementary is asking for your support!
Just clip and save labels and UPC caps from participating Labels for Education products. Then either drop them off with a secretary at Warren Elementary, or send in with a student. These labels allow our neighborhood's school to redeem points for important educational resources.

"NO SOLICITING" SIGN ...TO RETURN
On Sept. 7, 2010, the County Council adopted a law regarding the soliciting of GOODS and SERVICES to private homeowners and communities. These laws require that such solicitors be licensed and their allowed hours to operate. It also allows communities to adopt policies that prohibit it as long as a sign is posted at each entrance into a community. Many thanks to Paul Hamm, from our board, who will be replacing our community sign shortly.

REMINDER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Two of our neighbors have experienced severe flooding as a result of the plastic and misc. trash build up in our community storm drains. June McCleary has asked that we all remember to only use plastic trash cans WITH THEIR LIDS ATTACHED and TIED UP plastic trash bags on collection day to help with the problem. Also, please pick up daily misc. flying debris as you see it.
Remember also that trash containers are supposed to go out, at the earliest, the EVENING BEFORE or the MORNING OF collection. Also, please keep your containers in the rear of your home so that we can keep our neighborhood at it's best.
